We stayed here for a wedding - fluffy white towels, robes and a comfy bed was appreciated after our day of celebrating. Michael was very informative, taking note of other guests we could try to share taxis with for the wedding - this was greatly appreciated. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point.”

  • “Stayed here last weekend for a close friend's 50th. Bijou but stunning room with walk-in shower, roll-top bath as well as plastic duck and nice toiletries. Friday night's 'private dining' event for about 25 people was a tasting menu of Ottolenghi style dishes accompanied by a varied selection of house wines. The quality and quantity was top-notch and appreciated by the many discerning 'London types' who attended. Service was excellent too - a special mention to the host, Michael, but also young Will. Finally - and this is for me the most important bit - this boutique hotel is GENUINELY dog-friendly. So many claim to be but in reality are not. From the moment we arrived our chocolate Labrador, Bear, was made to feel welcome and he can't wait to see Hettie again...that's Michael's adorable Sprocker (apparently a Springer/Cocker cross). Oh, and a PS, the breakfasts are awesome - I normally loathe smoothies but were delicious - and I overheard some very bizarre cooked orders going into the kitchen, but nothing was too much trouble. A real home-from-home experience. We'll be back!!!”
